ABOUT ME
The Journey To Myself.
Yoga is healing and it is that simple. For me, yoga is a way to come back to the essence of what I am and truly let go into all the goodness and light that lives within us all.
Maria is a 500h E-RYT certified instructor and has over 200 hours of additional trainings. She is also a certified Pranic Healer ( a comprehensive system of energetic medicine) and an Ayurveda Wellness Counselor. She has co-led several Yoga Alliance approved teacher training programs and offers a number of workshops on Yin Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Mudras and the Chakras. She was featured in the Dirty South Yoga Conference as well as the inaugural WigWam Wellness Experience.

We’ll explore the beautiful, quiet, eco-friendly new town of Las Catalinas. Located on the Guanacaste coast of Costa Rica, all the elements are arranged to create a series of wonderful, walkable public spaces interwoven with nature. Every morning will start with yoga in a stunning space with unobstructed views of the ocean. We will have countless ocean adventures and even a private snorkeling tour along this breathtaking coast. After our evening yoga sessions, we will watch the most amazing sunsets from the comfort of our beachfront lux villa.

Maria approaches yoga as an opportunity to come back to yourself – to accept limits, expand boundaries and truly relax into ALL that you are. It is from this place of awareness that her teaching style is drawn. Her classes offer a combination of alignment based vinyasa flow with creative and intelligent sequences that leave you feeling like you've arrived home.
